Clover Time Social Class Tier List
S–C rankings for every social class, with full drop rates, farm bonuses, and when to stop spinning.
Social class is one of the permanent passive layers in Clover Time, the Black Clover–inspired Roblox action RPG by AnimeCore Studio. It sits beside races and traits in the same Customize Rolls / Hage Priest menus, but it leans harder into economy and farm speed—EXP and Yuls—than raw spell damage. Your grimoire still decides fight identity; social class decides how fast rods, crafts, shop buys, and crystal loops refill while you grind.
This page is the dedicated Social Class Tier List. Use it when you are about to spend tickets on class, when you land Merchant and wonder whether to greed Sovereign, or when you are still stuck on Peasant after the tutorial. Cross-check sibling rankings on races, traits, and finished kits on Best Builds before you empty a spin bank.
Rates below are community-tracked for early access / beta. AnimeCore can retune pools after patches—re-read the in-game roll UI and skim Updates if numbers on screen disagree with this table.
Full social class table
| Class | Rarity | Rate | Standout bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Peasant | Common | 49.70% | Default filler—tiny or no farm upside |
| Commoner | Uncommon | 30.38% | Mild mid roll; replace when convenient |
| Merchant | Rare | 14.72% | +10% Yuls cash engine |
| Noble | Epic | 3.21% | Playable Epic park |
| Royal | Legendary | 1.43% | Second-best broad package |
| Sovereign | Mythic | 0.56% | Best farm: +17.5% EXP and +22.5% Yuls |
Peasant alone accounts for nearly half of all rolls. That is why early accounts feel “stuck poor” until they leave Common and park on Merchant or better. Sovereign is rare enough that most players should treat it as a jackpot, not a mandatory day-two goal.
Community tier rankings
S — Sovereign (Mythic 0.56%)
Sovereign is the farming crown. The headline lines community guides cite are roughly +17.5% EXP and +22.5% Yuls, on top of strong regen-style comfort. Every fishing loop, chest route, quest clear, and Mana Crystal craft pays more while Sovereign is equipped. If you see it, stop class spinning and move tickets into race, traits, or bank them for later greed.
Sovereign pairs especially well with EXP races (Elf, Human-Dwarf, Devil) and with crystal-hungry goals like chasing a Tier I book at the Grimoire Tower. For peak loadouts that assume Sovereign, open Best Builds.
A — Royal and Merchant (cash)
Royal (Legendary 1.43%) is the “almost Sovereign” package—excellent EXP/Yuls/regen hybrid when Mythic will not show up. Keep Royal without guilt; upgrading from Royal to Sovereign is optional flex, not an emergency.
Merchant (Rare 14.72%) is the sleeper A-tier pick. The +10% Yuls line funds rods, crafts, and shop pivots at a rate high enough that efficient accounts often live on Merchant for a long time. Rank it A for cash value, not because it out-damages Royal in a vacuum. If your bottleneck is “I cannot afford the next crystal loop,” Merchant is frequently the correct stop.
B — Noble and Commoner
Noble (Epic 3.21%) is a fine mid-game park while you stabilize a grimoire and race floor. It is better than clinging to Peasant, but it should not eat serious ticket stacks once Merchant+ is available.
Commoner (Uncommon 30.38%) beats Peasant on paper and still deserves a planned exit. Treat it as a temporary stepping stone the same week you leave Human on the race list.
C — Peasant (Common 49.70%)
Peasant is the default for nearly half of all rolls. It is acceptable for the first tutorial hour and wrong as a long-term main. Reroll Peasant as soon as you have spare class tickets from codes, the shop, or boss drops—ideally in the same session you leave Human.
How to reroll social class
Social class shares the race/trait roll ecosystem:
- Open Menu (top right) → Customize → Rolls, then select Social Class.
- Or talk to the Priest inside the church in starting Hage Village.
Both routes open the same pools. Special Spins from milestone codes improve your odds versus normal tickets—save them for class (or race/trait) sessions where you actually have a stop rule, not tilt spam. Full UI walkthrough: How to Reroll.
Do not confuse this menu with the Grimoire Tower. Books still cost Mana Crystals at the tower; class tickets do not replace crystal pity. New players should redeem live gifts on Codes first, then batch class spins when they can afford to leave Peasant for Merchant+.
Practical chase order
A sane early-access plan:
- Leave Peasant immediately when tickets appear.
- Accept Merchant as a strong mid checkpoint for Yuls.
- Lock a usable Tier II+ grimoire so fights feel fair—see How to Get a Grimoire and the grimoire tier list.
- Climb race off Human toward Dwarf / Human-Dwarf / Elf while Merchant funds the economy (races).
- Push class toward Royal, then treat Sovereign as the dream pull.
- Raise traits toward High Mana / Strong Body, then Chosen One or Mana Sensitive (traits).
Budget accounts that try to force Sovereign before a working book and Merchant-tier wallet usually stall. Farm multipliers matter most when you already have a clear loop.
Synergy notes
- Merchant + fishing / chest crystal routes — Funds tower pity without panic Robux spends.
- Sovereign + Devil or Elf — Maximum EXP farm while you level and spin.
- Royal + Fast Learner (early trait) — Comfortable leveling bridge before Mythic traits.
- Any A/S class + Tier I Anti Magic or Poison — Economy and clear speed stack; see Best Builds and the dedicated Anti Magic write-up when you want kit-specific notes.
Social class will not fix a Tier III book by itself. It multiplies the hours you already spend clearing content—so pair it with controls fundamentals and a planned reroll budget from How to Reroll.

Get off Peasant, park on Merchant for cash, then climb toward Royal and Sovereign without ignoring your grimoire and race floors. That discipline turns class rolls into lasting farm power instead of another empty spin session.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Clover Time questions.
What is the best social class in Clover Time?
Sovereign (Mythic 0.56%) is S-tier for farming with about +17.5% EXP and +22.5% Yuls. Royal is the best Legendary alternative; Merchant is the best early Rare stop for +10% Yuls.
What are the social class drop rates?
Community-tracked rates: Peasant 49.70%, Commoner 30.38%, Merchant 14.72%, Noble 3.21%, Royal 1.43%, Sovereign 0.56%. Confirm live odds in the Customize Rolls UI after patches.
Is Merchant worth keeping?
Yes for early and mid game. Merchant’s +10% Yuls at Rare odds accelerates rods, crafts, and Mana Crystal loops. Many efficient accounts stay on Merchant while chasing Royal or Sovereign.
How do I reroll social class?
Use Menu → Customize → Rolls and select Social Class, or speak to the Priest in the Hage Village church. Special Spins improve odds versus normal tickets—see How to Reroll.
Should I chase Sovereign before a good grimoire?
No. Secure a Tier I or strong Tier II grimoire and leave Peasant for Merchant first. Sovereign multiplies a working farm loop; it does not replace a weak combat kit.
Where does social class sit versus race and traits?
All three share the Customize / Priest roll menus. Race leans combat sustain and EXP; social class leans Yuls/EXP farm; traits add smaller passives. Plan tickets across all three instead of dumping everything into one pool.
