Clover Time Players & Builds

Race, class, trait, and grimoire planning for Clover Time beta.

Last updated:

Welcome to the Players Hub for Clover Time, the Black Clover–inspired Roblox action RPG from AnimeCore Studio. This section is your map for character planning: which race to chase, which social class to keep, which trait is worth spins, and which grimoire actually carries quests and bosses. If you are still learning the basics, pair this hub with Getting Started and the controls guide before you dump every spin into the wrong pool.

Clover Time’s progression loop is simple on paper and expensive in practice. You explore, fight, fish, open chests, and farm mana crystals so you can spin for better identity pieces. Codes are the fastest free fuel for that loop—claim them on the codes page as soon as milestones drop. When you are ready for a concrete loadout instead of a menu of options, jump to Best Builds. If your chase book is already Anti Magic (or you are deciding whether to pity for it), read the dedicated Anti Magic Guide for kit notes, pairings, and crystal strategy.

What this hub covers

Use the players section when you need answers like:

  • Which race is strongest for general play right now?
  • Which class (social rank) is worth keeping versus rerolling?
  • Which traits speed early leveling or late damage?
  • Which grimoires clear PvE content reliably?
  • How do stats, mana, and rerolls fit together without wasting crystals?

Deep rankings for individual systems live under the tier-list tree: Grimoires, Races, and Traits. The Tier List Hub is the overview; this Players Hub is the practical “what should I run?” companion.

Build pillars at a glance

Community guidance during early access currently clusters around a clear peak identity:

PillarStrong pickWhy players chase it
RaceDevilTop-end combat identity for most content
ClassSovereignStrongest social-class payoff when you land it
TraitChosen One / Mana SensitiveDamage and mana-side advantages for casting
Grimoire (PvE)Anti Magic, PoisonReliable clear tools; strong alts below

Strong alternate grimoires include Battle Lightning, Ice, and Explosive Flame. Exact rankings shift as AnimeCore patches balance, so treat any single “best” label as current community guidance, not a permanent rulebook. Cross-check the grimoire tier list after each update, and use the Anti Magic Guide when you want kit-specific Awakening, pairing, and stat-testing notes for that Tier I book.

Early game versus chase rare

You do not need perfect luck on day one. A practical early kit looks like:

  • Fast Learner for faster XP while you learn quests and combat pacing
  • Coin Eye to improve coin flow for shops and crafting costs
  • Merchant-friendly class options while you hunt Sovereign

Those pieces keep you moving while you farm spins for Devil, Chosen One / Mana Sensitive, and premium grimoires. Spins come from play loops and especially from codes. Mana crystals also come from fishing, chests, and crafting—budget them instead of burning everything on the first bad roll. When you need the step-by-step for rolls, open How to Reroll and How to Get a Grimoire.

Stats and combat notes

Most grimoires reward investing into magic-oriented stats so spells hit harder and more often. Anti Magic is the notable exception in community discussion: players often treat it as more blade-oriented, so its optimal stat mix can differ from pure caster books. Phrase that carefully when you respec—test in a safe quest loop after each reset, and do not assume every grimoire wants the same slider layout. Stat resets sometimes appear in code rewards; watch the codes hub and updates when compensation or milestone gifts land.

How to use the wiki with your character

  1. Finish onboarding with Getting Started and Controls.
  2. Redeem every working code on Codes.
  3. Read Best Builds for the recommended peak kit and early substitutes, or the Anti Magic Guide if that is your chase book.
  4. Compare your rolls against Races, Traits, and Grimoires.
  5. After patches, skim Updates before you spend a large crystal stash.
  6. Keep Scripts for quality-of-life tooling discussions only if you already understand the risks—builds themselves do not require scripts.

Squads, flight, and AFK

Clover Time is not only solo grinding. Magic Squads help with harder objectives, broom flight opens map routes, and AFK World supports passive progress when you step away. Builds still matter: a strong race/class/trait/grimoire stack clears content faster whether you play active or park for AFK rewards. If a patch changes those systems, notes will land on the Updates Hub.

Bookmark this hub, then drill into Best Builds or the Anti Magic Guide whenever you are about to spend spins. A clear target saves more progress than random rolling forever.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Clover Time questions.

What is the best race in Clover Time right now?

Community guidance currently favors Devil as the top race for general play. Confirm against the races tier list after patches.

Which class should I keep?

Sovereign is the peak class target. Merchant-friendly options are acceptable early while you chase better rolls—see Best Builds.

Which traits are worth spinning for?

Chosen One and Mana Sensitive are the standout end goals. Fast Learner and Coin Eye are strong early while you farm rarer traits.

Where do I get spins and mana crystals?

Redeem codes first, then farm fishing, chests, and crafting for mana crystals. Reroll steps are in How to Reroll.

Should every grimoire stack magic stats?

Most caster grimoires benefit from magic investment. Anti Magic is often discussed as more blade-oriented—treat that as community guidance and test after respecs.

Is this Players Hub official?

No. This is an unofficial fan wiki. Always verify balance changes through AnimeCore Studio channels linked on the Wiki Links page.
